This week Brendan recommended Mike check out Panos Cosmatos’ Mandy. A phantasmagoric revenge horror metal fantasy with National Treasure Nicholas Cage. Mandy and her boyfriend Red live an idyllic life in the mountains until a cult destroys their lives sending Red on a journey into the bizarre as he seeks vengeance. Mandy is horror done with a gut-punch of sincerity and an overdose of madness. An assault of colors, sounds, and performance. Watch Mandy before we spoil the whole thing.
